Starting a church is a little like trying to draw a map of an uncharted area. We’ve read oodles of information on how to do this, but in the end, no one has done this before in Woodbury specifically, in this current culture in our denomination. That said, there are many days when we question whether or not we’re on the right path. Saturday was a big day for us. Travis spent half the day at the annual pastors’ meeting for the Twin Cities Baptist Association. They asked three pastors in advance to give a five minute report on the happenings of their church. Travis was one of those three. He received lots of confirmation and affirmation after the meeting was done. And so we press onward with a little more confidence. This week we are working hard to get a sermon or two posted. A common question we hear is, “You’re a preacher? Can I hear your sermons?” People want the luxury of listening from home before making the drive to church. So today’s prayer request is that we can focus and reach that goal.
